Entry Requirements

  • Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline with 120 credits AND
  • Applicants with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant area AND
  • ‘C’ Pass in G.C.E O/L English and Mathematics or equivalent

Educational Enquiry (60 Credits)

The Educational Enquiry module represents the culmination of the MA Education (Top Up) programme, providing students with the opportunity to undertake a rigorous and independent enquiry into an area of education closely related to their own professional context and personal scholarly interest. Students engage critically with relevant academic literature, select appropriate research methodologies, and report their findings at Masters level, with support from an experienced academic supervisor throughout the process. Education is understood broadly within this module to encompass formal and informal learning, lifelong education, and training across a diverse range of professional settings. The aim of this module is to consolidate the knowledge, research skills, and professional insight developed throughout the programme, equipping graduates to contribute meaningfully to educational practice, policy, and debate in their chosen field.
